Integrity, attention to detail and listening skills have not only earned Jean great professional success, but most importantly the respect of her clients. To every real estate transaction she brings a genuine concern for people’s needs, combined with excellent taste, design sense and product knowledge. Jean’s strong business management and negotiation talents come into play when guiding others in the most important financial venture of their life – the purchase or sale of property.
Prior to her success as a top producing real estate agent, Jean managed a contemporary art gallery on 57th Street for eight years. She also spent over a decade in the fashion retail industry making invaluable connections and traveling extensively as Director of Product Development for Bloomingdale’s. Jean also served as Vice President of her cooperative board on Central Park West and therefore possesses an in depth understanding of the myriad aspects of the all-important board approval process, from board package preparation to prepping a buyer for the interview.
Born and raised in Westchester, Jean has proudly lived on Manhattan’s Upper East and West Sides for over 40 years. Raising her two children in the city enhanced her knowledge of these markets, area schools, and family recreation options. Jean was an active member of the Parents Association of the Brearley, Collegiate and West Side Montessori Schools, where she chaired numerous fundraising events.
Jean also has deep roots in the Hamptons - her family first travelled to Montauk in the 1930’s and Jean has vacationed here for over 60 years. She recently completed building her dream house on the same street as her family’s long time home in Hither Hills, with ample guest rooms for the next generation.
Jean is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, LIBOR in the Hamptons, NYSAR and NAR. She consistently ranks among the top 5% of agents at Brown Harris Stevens and has earned the designation of New York Residential Specialist, the highest professional credential for residential real estate agents in New York City. By also joining the East Hampton office, she is able to help her clients with their real estate needs in both markets. She takes her work very seriously, but can also be found enjoying wonderful museums, architecture, and interior design, as well as cycling, swimming and downhill skiing.
