Born in Smithtown Long Island and raised in northern Virginia, Steven Girardi grew up spending summers in the Hamptons, where his appreciation for the area deepened with each passing year. His grandfather, an immigrant from northern Italy, built a successful career as a restaurant owner in Rockefeller Plaza, and summers spent with him were filled with lessons in cooking, gardening, and the value of hard work. Inspired by his grandfather’s legacy, Steven and his best friend built a music studio at his family home in Southampton Village, blending creativity with his love for the East End.
Steven graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Politics and American Government, and a certificate from the McIntire School of Commerce in Finance, Communication, and Marketing. His creative ambition led him to Los Angeles, where he quickly gained recognition as one of the industry’s top remix artists, collaborating with stars like Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Michael Jackson. Alongside a colleague from USC’s summer film program, Steven co-founded a sound design company, crafting tailored soundscapes for blockbuster movie marketing campaigns with Hollywood’s top studios. Despite his success in music and film, the Hamptons always called him home.
In the spring of 2024, Steven moved to Southampton full-time to pursue his next chapter. A seasoned traveler, he has backpacked Iceland, hiked the Dolomites, and cultivated international connections through European adventures, including stays in French castles and visits to his family in Lago di Garda, Italy. Proficient in Italian and inspired by the unique landscapes of the Hamptons, Steven brings his deep-rooted love for the area to his career. Whether through his artistic pursuits or his passion for real estate, Steven understands the unmatched beauty and lifestyle the East End offers, and he uses his local knowledge and creative vision to help others find their place in the Hamptons.
