Since settling in Greenwich in 2012, Matthew Tallett's career has always existed in the sales & marketing space, and most recently tech, but one extracurricular interest remained consistent: residential architecture and design, and therefore real estate.
As a child, Matthew would pour over his grandfathers old architecture books, look at home listings in the classified ads and Christie’s catologues, and design and draw the floor plans of what he saw (not to scale of course).

His affinity has settled into historic homes and gilded age mansions with their scrupulous craftsmanship, however, as a stalwart minimalist, he also finds himself admiring ultra modern homes that blend and balance glass, wood and concrete. There isn’t much he can’t find respect for, so long as it possesses creative vision and individualized style.
Matthew channels that same scrupulous craftsmanship in his approach to real estate, with no two transactions, homes or house hunters being the same. His goal is to be a trusted, highly educated, and informed resource for everything you need when buying or selling a home. Matthew not only focuses on the lane of his own knowledge base, but also maintains relationships with interior designers, architects, builders and attorneys, as well as general understanding of an area's history, heritage, places to visit, shop, and eat. Feel free to give him a follow on Instagram @themanaroundtown to find architecture, interior design and landscapes that inspire.
