Kat relocated with her family from New York City to Westport in 2015, so she personally understands the challenges of buying a home in Connecticut while selling in another state. This makes her the perfect realtor for clients who are relocating or looking for a second home in Connecticut.
Kat began her real estate career working in public relations at Cushman and Wakefield, after graduating from the University of Colorado. She also worked for the Related Companies, one of the leading developers in Manhattan specializing in luxury new development sales. She was part of the Related sales team for the following new condominium developments: The Caledonia, The Brompton, The Harrison, Riverwalk Court, and One Carnegie Hill. Kat generated over $45 million in new condominium sales while at Related.
She later went on to work for Douglas Elliman's new development division, as head of sales for The Foundry at Hunter's Point condominium. There she worked closely with the developer, Ekstein Development Group, and personally sold the remaining 65% of the building. This totaled to over $23 million dollars of revenue in condominium sales.
Kat is excited to be with Brown Harris Stevens for its dynamic and personable approach to business and for its strong market presence in both New York and Connecticut.
Originally from Atlanta, she has her real estate licenses in both New York and Connecticut and is excited to focus on growing her Connecticut business. She and her family love living in Westport and enjoy all the town has to offer including its schools, beaches, parks, arts and culture, shopping, and restaurants.
