Julie has lived and worked in New York City for more than 20 years. Prior to real estate, her years of stage acting and her experience as a theatre professional led her to a career as a teaching artist for the prestigious Manhattan Theatre Club and the Tony Award-winning education department of Theatre Development Fund. As a teaching artist, she created and led theatre workshops in preparation for bringing NYC students to Broadway and Off-Broadway plays; helped students create their own theatre in after-school programs; and moderated post-show discussions between the audiences, performers, and creative teams for Broadway plays.
A career in real estate was a logical and exciting transition for this former educator and stage and screen actor, dynamic people person, and someone whose former career had her using her Metrocard up to seven times a day. In her 20+ years as a New Yorker, Julie has lived in numerous neighborhoods and knows this city inside and out. But she never tires of learning more and sharing her knowledge of all this great city has to offer.
After 20 years in Manhattan, Julie moved into a new development condo in DUMBO seven years ago. She recently sold that apartment (in a week!) to purchase a larger apartment just three blocks away in one of DUMBO's iconic prewar buildings. Julie definitely enjoys sharing her real estate expertise with her clients all over Manhattan and Brooklyn, but she really shines as a DUMBO ambassador.
