Originally from Greenfield, Massachusetts, Ian graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in Economics and Dance. He moved to New York City nearly 20 years ago to pursue a career in modern dance, performing with numerous downtown dance groups. His trajectory changed after just a few years, but he remained in the city raising a family and thriving on New York’s energy, culture and optimism. In his spare time, Ian enjoys listening to opera, playing golf and sharing good food and wine with friends. He is the proud father of an 8 year old daughter, Saya, who is also not a bad dancer.
