Ed Herson is a 25-year veteran NYC broker, co-op owner in Manhattan, and the owner/operator of a real estate investment portfolio. With decades of experience, Ed has weathered many market fluctuations, advising his clients along the way.
Ed's professional history is a path of entrepreneurial growth. With a degree in Business and Culinary Arts, Ed moved to Killington Vermont, where he worked as a chef at night, teaching skiing during the day. Ed’s first real estate deal was in 1987 when he secured a commercial lease on Nantucket Island opening a small high-volume restaurant. He grew that little store into five restaurants by the age of 28.
In 1993, Ed moved to Manhattan to begin his real estate career, opening two retail locations: the first on 72nd and Central Park West, and another on Broadway and 70th Street. Three years later, Ed folded his firm into Halstead (now Brown Harris Stevens) where he remains a top-producing broker. In recognition of his achievements, Ed belongs to the elite Private Council and Producers Circle. He is an active member of the Real Estate Board of NY, teacher for BHS agent training, and enjoys philanthropic work in the community.

Client Testimonials
Dear Ed, I absolutely love the apartment. I am so, so happy there. It's the perfect amount of space for me, and I can't get over how lovely the block is. Thank you again for all of your help throughout the process! Sally M.On a personal note, Ed, I have valued our relationship. Having had to work hard for most of what I have, there are not many I would trust to have my best interest at heart. I do know that you can be counted on to take care of business, in this case, my business. Thank you for that. - Otis T.Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Ed sold my studio years ago. He then found me a much, much larger apartment and sold that for me too. Ed staged the apartment, and sold it to a qualified buyer in record time! - Roger P.When Ed and I started looking for a Manhattan home, I didn’t really know the market. Ed was so familiar with the city and the inventory that we focused like a laser beam and found exactly what I was looking for. He even negotiated an amazing deal for me. Ed is on top of it! - Brian C.Edward is the real thing. I’ve bought and sold many times in Manhattan and I can tell you that Edward separates himself from other agents. He’s been in it for over 15 years, he is a businessman. He cares about what I want and works tirelessly for me. I want Ed on my side. - Michelle A.Mr. Herson’s marketing methodologies were even Impressive to me. And I work in Social Media! - Mike W.Ed managed my transaction so smoothly, he just seems to have a knack for anticipating things. - Jean B.Awards & Recognition
