Award-winning Lic. Associate Real Estate Broker Dina Cohen was named to the Producers Council, which is the designation for those agents in the top 5% of Halstead Real Estate (now Brown Harris Stevens). In addition, Dina was named to the Platinum Circle, an elite group of agents who have accumulated more than $100 million dollars in sales and the Sapphire Club, whose members have sold homes ranging between $3M to $6 million dollars.
Dina was an Associate Broker at another firm for 12 years before bringing her impressive record of accomplishments to Brown Harris Stevens (then Halstead) in 2012. Dina was consistently a top producer there and was also named as the highest earning sales agent in her office and twice acknowledged as the top sales listing agent. Dina has been listed more than once as one of the top 1,000 NRT sales associates nationwide, and was a perennial member of the Platinum Club, a select group of agents who consistently produce several transactions that are above and beyond the organization’s expectations. In addition to several other awards and honors, Dina was singled out for providing what is so important to clients - special recognition for Outstanding Customer Service.
A lifelong New Yorker, Dina made Manhattan her home after earning degrees in both Mass Communications and Liberal Arts. She worked at Time Warner as a production coordinator and writer for a weekly real estate television show, “Realty Views,” and served in various positions at NBC until she moved to Los Angeles for a year in 1998.
After a year in California, however, Dina not only missed her friends and family, but also missed New York City itself. Upon her return, she immediately took the required course in real estate and took on the real estate world in a big way. A Gramercy Park resident, Dina enjoys skiing, writing, researching New York City history, and the many perks of living in this great city. A vegetarian, Dina is an animal rights advocate and a donor to a number of animal organizations. The rest of her time is devoted to real estate, a profession that she truly loves. Dina’s co-workers and clients enjoy working with her because she’s so down to earth, trustworthy, and dedicated.
In 2023, Dina teamed up with Dugald Loughnan to create the Cohen-Loughnan Team. Together, their perfect blend of experience and enthusiasm makes them the perfect team to assist both Buyers and Sellers achieve their goals. Call Dina today to discuss your real estate needs. Trust Experience.
“Thank you so much! We kind of dreaded the idea of putting the apartment on the market and going through this process while not being present, but you have made this so incredibly easy and smooth and we greatly appreciate it.” – Marsha V. and Bill M.Dina is an expert at what she does, and I trusted her at every step of the way. Selling a home is very stressful, particularly when moving across the country, as in my case. Dina was always professional, patient and upfront – which I appreciated when we needed to make important decisions about the apartment sale. With Dina’s consultation, we priced our apartment at the top range and I believe it was Dina’s experience and her persistence that got us top dollar for our apartment, despite listing it at a seasonably slow time in the real estate market. – Lisa L.Throughout the entire process, Dina was outstanding. Her knowledge of the building, neighbor and real estate market were top notch. She was able to guide me in determining a listing price that was in line with the building and extremely attractive to me. I highly recommend Dina Cohen to anyone who is considering selling an apartment. What potentially could have been a very stressful process turned out to be anything but thanks to Dina’s involvement. – Teal G.Everything from Dina’s straightforward approach to her myriad business contacts made my sale and subsequent move much easier to handle. Dina’s style of dealing in real estate is very straightforward and honest. She knows the business well, but she isn’t patronizing in any way, which was a relief for me. At the same time, she was personable as well as complimentary regarding the degree to which I had prepared my apartment for the first open house. In order to help the sale progress, Dina referred me to numerous other profes¬sionals in the real estate business - a storage company, a real estate lawyer, etc. - and each one of these contacts made the sale and my subsequent move even easier. In terms of negotiation, Dina was very articulate about how waiting out for a higher bid might create problems, and I could tell she’d experienced that before. I feel that she’s an extremely professional broker, and I’d absolutely recommend her to others. — Joseph B.Dina allowed me to stay relatively hands-off in the sale of my inherited apartment. The whole experience was great. Dina did everything they promised to do and ultimately found me a buyer. Dealing with the people involved in the sale wasn’t always easy, but working with Dina was always smooth and easy. I didn’t have to work too hard on the sale, and only rarely was I involved with meeting prospective buyers. Dina and her partner really got the job done. I would certainly recommend her. She always finds a buyer or seller, whatever her client needs. — Ken S.Dina helped us get an extra room in our apartment without adding onto our budget. Dina is very much tuned into what her client wants and needs. She listens to the specifics and adds her own insights and experience to the equation in order to decipher exactly what fits her client’s family and personal needs. In our case, Dina helped us to look outside the box. We were set on a two bedroom apartment with a balcony, but Dina was able to show us that we could, at the same price point, get a three bedroom with an extra bathroom. Now, we have an extra room, and we’re very happy about that. Dina is also very skilled on the business end of real estate. She knows the ins and outs of the transaction, and she was able to assist us in our correspondence with our lawyer, the co-op Board, and anything else we needed. She made the whole process feel very easy, and we highly recommend her. — Judy P.Dina’s a personable, talented broker who really looks out for her clients and customers. It’s always a pleasure to work with Dina. She’s easy going, but she always gets the job done, and she keeps me informed all the while. Dina has helped me to purchase a personal home as well as find tenants for a number of Chelsea properties that I manage. Her communication is top-notch, and I find that to be very important. She’s diligent with follow ups, and her quick response time shows how much she looks out for her clients and customers. I always recommend Dina to friends and colleagues. Because I work in a commercial real estate firm, recommending a residential broker is very significant, but I’m confident to do so. Dina’s a personable, talented broker. — Michele C.Dina got us an offer at the first open house she had. We accepted, and Dina made sure the deal went through. The property we were selling was inherited by my husband, and it was a nice apartment, but Dina offered a number of suggestions regarding how to best show the space before we held the open house, and I think that helped quite a bit. Even after we accepted the offer, Dina held more open houses just in case the deal fell through. Fortunately, it didn’t, and the negotiating and closing phases of the sale progressed smoothly. Because of Dina’s quick work, I’d absolutely recommend her. — Joan K.Dina’s trustworthiness was very important to me. I felt comfortable trusting her with my first home purchase. Dina taught us everything we know about real estate. She’s extremely good with first-time buyers and made our educational experience fun. She also worked hard to understand our preferences and she actually listened to what we did and didn’t want. Her instincts were equally important. We eventually purchased an apartment that didn’t impress us the first time we saw it. We trusted her when she suggested we take a second look and she was right. I couldn’t work with a broker whom I couldn’t trust and we trust Dina implicitly. She was responsive to all our questions, and we felt quite comfortable with the process. I’ve recommended Dina several times and I will continue to do so. In addition to her skills as a realtor, she’s also very pleasant, funny, and friendly. — Kim C.Dina’s willingness to do whatever it took to find us the right apartment was remarkable. I recommend her without reservation. Dina’s on her game - she’s been in the business for years - and it’s obvious in the way that she works. She’s extremely professional and thorough, as well as knowledgeable. What I found to be remarkable about Dina was her willingness to do whatever it took to help us find the right apartment. She understood what was important to us, and she never tried to push a property on us that wasn’t exactly what we were interested in. As the purchase progressed, she continued to maintain a professional relationship with us, providing sup¬port all the while, which was also extremely valuable to us. It was truly a pleasure to work with Dina. — Donna S.Current Listings
