October in the Hamptons kicks off the 31st Annual Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF). The autumnal streets of East Hampton and Sag Harbor are filled with filmmakers and cinephiles gathering to celebrate and enjoy riveting films, insightful talks, and other exciting events.
“I can’t wait to see Fresh Kills.” East Hampton Agent, Michael Petershon says. “Jennifer Esposito is incredibly talented, and an East Hampton Local! She has taken a fresh approach on the 1980s Mafia by looking at it from a woman’s perspective,” he continues.
Sag Harbor agent, Kim Kakerbeck, is excited to see several films. “I plan to see 3 documentaries: Wilding, Menus Plaisirs Les Troisgros, and They Called Him Mostly Madness. I find the HIFF runs the best documentaries, many that you will not see anywhere else.”
