Tom Muldoon is a consummate real estate professional known for employing a holistic, stress-relieving approach to his work with clients. He maintains a positive attitude balanced with sharp negotiation and market analysis skills.
A native of Washington Heights, Tom is deeply ingrained in the fabric of New York City, maintaining a knowledge of its various neighborhoods and offerings that one can only gain from growing up here. He spent nearly two decades in law enforcement working with state courts before spontaneously moving to Hawaii with his wife after honeymooning in Maui. There, he launched his real estate career, representing sellers of prestigious oceanfront properties from around the globe.
Tom's expanding network, coupled with his unwavering commitment to integrity and exceptional client service, culminated in his appointment as the Principal Broker at his firm. In this capacity, he spearheaded the expansion of offices from 5 to 16, overseeing a team of 500 agents. Tom also played a pivotal role in the integration of ancillary businesses, including a mortgage company, title company, and a vacation and long-term rental management company.
Tom was thrilled to return to his roots New York City, where his wide network of skills has aligned seamlessly with Brown Harris Stevens’ high standards for exceptional client service. Among his areas of specialty are the neighborhoods surrounding Central Park, where he resides with his wife.
With active Broker's licenses in both New York and Hawaii, Tom is dedicated to guiding clients through the purchase and sale of their dream homes on either "island."
When he is not working, Tom enjoys walking his dog through Central Park and cheering on his favorite New York sports teams.
