Rosalie Weider has been one of Parks Slope's leading real estate brokers since 1978. Over her many years of experience she has broken records for highest sale prices, and earned awards for her accomplishments. Her reputation is based on her evident love of people, a true passion for Brownstone Brooklyn's architectural treasures, and an innate ability to listen closely to sellers and buyers alike. She brings a fine attention to detail, a deep knowledge and confidence in the marketplace, and a high standard of professionalism to every transaction. These qualities have "earned Rosalie the respect of sellers, buyers and her peers." (from a board member of one of Park Slope's most exclusive luxury prewar co-ops).
Sellers appreciate Rosalie's ability to maximize the value of each property she represents. Her drive, her intuition, her undivided loyalty, and her ability to bring buyers and sellers together create confidence and trust.
Rosalie has been successful working with a diverse array of clients: first time buyers; growing families looking to expand their space; those ready to renovate a townhouse; empty nesters looking to downsize; seasoned purchasers seeking a luxury apartment in one of the full-service Prospect Park West buildings, or buyers desiring a historic mansion in the heart of Park Slope. She strives to make each real estate transaction as stress-free as possible for her clients, leading buyers and sellers alike to return over the years for professional advice and to refer their friends and colleagues.
When not working Rosalie can be found walking in Prospect Park, on the ski slopes of the Rockies, gardening, or biking. She is a member of the Park Slope Civic Council, Prospect Park Alliance, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and for many years worked on the Park Slope Civic Council's Annual House Tour.
Now working as a team with her son Alex Weider, Rosalie continues to provide an expert hand for her clients in today's New York real estate market. Rosalie and her husband Jerry live on 3rd Street. Their two grown sons and their families (who also love Brooklyn), call Park Slope and Ditmas Park home.
