After graduating the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, Kendel entered the world of couture fashion, working at Naeem Khan, Reem Acra, Halston, and J.Mendel before designing her own label of couture performance apparel, which was sold at Bandier, Royal Poinciana Plaza Palm Beach, the Four Seasons Resorts, Seattle Tennis Club, etc. Through her brand, F.WORDS, she traveled to equestrian events throughout the US, with her largest market and home away from home being in Southeast Florida.
Trained in traditional haute-couture techniques, Kendel’s innate creativity and eye for detail make her adept at identifying the ultimate luxury property, staging, and interior design. She employs a results-oriented, tenacious approach to business, never afraid to think big or out of the box, and take action to manifest her clients’ dreams.
Kendel is both empathetic and firm. She can deeply understand and share the feelings of others while also having the resolve to make difficult decisions and take strong stances when necessary. She combines compassion with decisiveness in the art of the deal and cultivates valued, long term relationships with clients.
Kendel resides in Hell’s Kitchen with her husband and Dalmatian. She enjoys training for marathons, downhill alpine skiing, traveling to luxury resorts, and fine dining, having frequented Michelin Star restaurants throughout five countries and counting.
