Janet Charles has always loved the real estate industry. It was something that she always dreamed of doing for so many reasons, not the least of which is her love of New York’s wonderful neighborhoods, and her desire to help people in their pursuit of finding a great home.
However, Janet initially took another path after graduating from college. She became an accomplished attorney after earning her Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. Janet excelled as a corporate attorney for over 25 years and developed an extensive background in civil and commercial litigation and contracting. Her business expertise also included real estate transactions, contracts, product liability, employment issues, and environmental and brand marketing.
To her credit, Janet’s love of real estate never waned and she found her way back to the industry that she loves. She honed her skills by being involved in purchasing and selling several properties of her own. This renewed her interest in providing that expertise for others including her friends, family, and associates. Janet is now the proud owner of a townhome in Harlem, and enjoys being actively involved in her community. When she is not working to help others find their home, she puts her talents to work in the non-profit sector by serving on non-profit boards, by volunteering, and supporting fundraising and partnership development activities.
Janet is looking forward to working with you through the delicate and sometimes complex aspects of the selling and buying process, which she has personally experienced. She will ensure that your buying or selling experience is trouble-free, enjoyable, and successful.
