Ms. Van de Water grew up in Palm Beach and has followed real estate on the island not only as a resident but as a noted real estate writer. Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2003 as a real estate agent specializing in luxury residential and investment properties, Ms. Van de Water had a 20-year career in journalism as an editor, business writer and real estate columnist. Ms. Van de Water twice served as President of the Palm Beach Board of Realtors, and served as a director of the Board for 14 years. She attended George Washington University, University of Florida and earned a BA in English from Florida Atlantic University.
