Having grown up in New York City and been lucky enough to spend summers in Quogue, Tony Marr moved to Sag Harbor full time almost 20 years ago. He already had deep roots in the area thanks to a family involved with well-known East End businesses for over 50 years. Tony’s uncle started a small bus company in a potato barn in Bridgehampton in 1974 called “Hampton Jitney,” and Tony's mother owned and operated restaurants in Southampton, Quogue, and Westhampton Beach.
Tony prides himself on having that same strong entrepreneurial spirit and customer service focus. With many years in the hospitality industry, including working the front door at “The American Hotel,” his motivation has always remained the same - make the client happy. Tony's pivot into Real Estate came as a result of wanting to pair his service skills with his extensive knowledge of just about every East End neighborhood from Remsenburg to Montauk.
"What I most enjoy is taking good care of others," he says. "When someone else is pleased by something I've done for them, it brings me great satisfaction. The best feeling of all is when I present a home to a client that they might not have otherwise considered, then suddenly having them realize it's something they simply can't live without. That, to me, is a true success."
When not busy selling real estate, Tony enjoys watching his son surf in Montauk, playing an occasional round of golf, and catching a far too occasional striped bass.
