Fashion designer Christian Siriano, winner of Project Runway and renowned for dressing icons like Michelle Obama, Victoria Beckham, and Jennifer Lopez, has launched an interior design pop-up in the penthouse at Zeckendorf Development Marketing’s luxurious 1289 Lexington Avenue.
The $13.75 million penthouse, designed by award-winning firms HOK and SheltonMindel, features five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and modern amenities including a large terrace, chef's kitchen, and custom staircase.
Siriano told the New York Post that the space is "filled with so much beautiful natural light," aiming to keep it "light and modern, but powerful and playful at the same time." He envisions it as a gallery where "each piece has a chance to shine and will surely spark a conversation."
The pop-up will showcase Siriano's latest collection of bespoke furniture, alongside French and Italian antiques from the 1940s to the 1960s. Siriano Interiors, established in 2019, has undertaken projects ranging from residential buildings to boutique hotels across the U.S. The collection is available on Siriano Interiors’ website as well as 1stDibs.
Jill Bernard of Brown Harris Stevens, leading the building's sales, says that the installation “promises to be a testament to Christian’s versatility as an interior designer and his ability to enliven this incredible home with his signature flair."
The penthouse pop-up is open for viewing and Christian will stop by for an official invite-only launch event on January 22nd complete with a DJ, light bites, and cocktails.
In addition to generous living spaces, 1289 Lexington offers extensive amenities such as a lounge, landscaped roof terrace, gym, designer children’s playroom, and private study pods.
