The Hamptons has long been known as a dining paradise, offering a diverse range of culinary experiences from fresh seafood eateries to high-end gourmet restaurants. The area's vibrant farm-to-table movement and fresh seafood ensures that many eateries feature locally-sourced ingredients, adding a unique and sustainable touch to the already-delicious cuisine. Additionally, the picturesque coastal setting provides a charming and relaxing atmosphere, enhancing the overall dining experience.

With summer dining currently at its peak, four BHS Hamptons Agents shared some of their favorite spots to dine across the East End!

Bird on the Roof - Montauk

"There is always something cool & hip happening there. Whether it’s a dine in comedy show event, trivia, or speakeasy night, you will always find yourself having a great time! The menu is fantastic and if you like fun and creative cocktails, this is definitely a restaurant you want to try. They offer brunch and dinner and are sited next to the ocean." - BHS Hamptons Agent, Aubri Peele

Rita Cantina - East Hampton

"If you’re looking for a refreshing and homemade margarita, this is the spot. They make all their own mixes and the food is authentic as Mexican gets. Their pork al pastor tacos are unforgettable. It has high energy vibes and is a wonderful place to mingle and meet new people." - BHS Hamptons Agent, Aubri Peele

Bistroete - Water Mill

"Although picking just one Hamptons restaurant is tough, I am a die hard patron of Bistro Ete in Water Mill. Head Chef Ari is Michelin starred and prepares the most exquisite food." - BHS Hamptons Agent, Andrea Ackerman

Village Bistro - East Hampton

"The newest restaurant in town is the Village Bistro in East Hampton. One can either enjoy dinner indoors or al fresco under the canopy of what I believe to be a paper bark maple tree!  To enjoy the summer weather, I suggest dining al fresco! Their East Coast Oysters from the Raw Bar are delicious, prepared with Lemon, mignonette, cocktail sauce, and horseradish. This spot guarantees a wonderful dining experience."  - BHS Hamptons Agent, Jose "JB" DosSantos

Opties and Dinghies - Shelter Island

"After moving from Orient Point, Opties and Dinghies opened this past June in Shelter Island and specializes in the fusion of French and Chinese cuisine. I especially enjoyed the many varieties of dumplings, the doughy BAO, Spring Rolls, cold sesame noodles, crepes, and gelato in 40 flavors. The atmosphere is quaint and perfectly casual, with a coffee and tea bar inside as well. This incredible restaurant is a welcome addition to Shelter Islands restaurant scene, and is my new favorite!" - BHS Hamptons Agent, Cynthia Barrett
