We at Brown Harris Stevens always support, promote, and seek out ways to give back to our communities. We especially love when our agents not only partake in philanthropic efforts, but lead them.

As such, we are proud to share that Linley Pennebaker Hagen---an agent in our Sag Harbor office and lifetime resident of the town---was recently honored by the Sag Harbor Partnership for nearly three decades of consistent, impactful community service efforts and leadership. She is the seventh recipient the organization's esteemed Community Service Award.

"Pennebaker Hagen is being honored for her tireless involvement in multiple initiatives that have benefitted Sag Harbor and the East End." --- The Sag Harbor Partnership

A longtime supporter of the John Jermain Memorial Library (pictured above), Pennebaker Hagen spent five years as a member of the library's Board of Trustees raising funds for its newly opened expansion. She also was the first woman on the board of directors of the Sag Harbor Whaling and Historical Museum, for which she organized a special preservation group and initiative.

Pennebaker Hagen is currently a member of the board of Mashashimuet Park, where she has helped funraise for a new playground and restored bandstand.
