Have you ever wondered what business leaders read in their downtime during the summer months? Well, in a recent sit down with Brown Harris Stevens CEO Bess Freedman,  she shared her own list of great books that she would recommend to BHS Agents and Staff, whether they're on the beach or relaxing at home. Here are her top five reads, and the reasons she chose them, below.

Each of Freedman's picks are linked to Bookshop.org, an online book site that supports independent bookstores, if you wish to purchase any or all. The platform provides independent bookstores marketing tools and financial support to help them maintain their presence in local communities. It has helped raise over $26M in subscriptions since its launch.
