The holiday season begets a time of giving and thoughfulness, providing the perfect opportunity to show our family and friends just how much they mean to us. It can also be a time to reward yourself after a year of hard work and sacrifice.

Here are three recent finds I've come across that would make great gifts, both for yourself and your loved ones!

Unique Art

I recently visited Kelly Rosetti's open studio weekend at the American Fabrics Building in Bridgeport, CT. I felt like I was walking on a cloud. Kelly comes from the corporate fashion world in NYC and took an off-ramp into oil painting along the way. See the painter’s palette expressed soothingly yet mightily all at once here. It's always important to support living, working artists, and nothing says "I love you" like a piece that can't be found or replicated anywhere else.

Rare Finds

Next time you’re in Columbus Circle, consider making a stop at the Museum of Art and Design. The Museum’s gift shop is an underrated gem, with all sorts of unique gifts you never knew you wanted. From shatterproof wine glasses with eclectic designs to mindfulness journals, fun jewelry, candles, and themed cocktail recipe books, the gifts are perfect for an office "Secret Santa," Hanukah gifts, or stocking stuffers.

A Dream Home for You

It never hurts to treat yourself, and building equity is arguably the best gift of all! Any real estate agent or finance expert will tell you the same. As we come to the end of 2023, one of the most magnificent sale opportunities I’ve seen this year is at 455 East 51st Street by Katharine Tuckerman. It is getting dark early now, so my visit was by night. The depth of the romantic interiors against the vast East River views was simply MAGNIFIQUE. Katharine had to tell me gently it was time to go… If a dream NYC apartment is on your vision board, come see this one!

Wishing us all peace and prosperity in 2024!
