His sound decisions during predevelopment help elevate each offering in the competitive marketplace through selection of architecture and interior design teams, amenity recommendations, and strategic alliances and partnerships in working with BHSDM’s marketing arm. Together, this holistic approach drives premium pricing, which Robin’s oversight frequently achieves for developments in their specific submarkets.

Beyond his work with developers, he consults with clients’ capital partners to pull together underwriting and project future sales through broker opinion of value, detailed comp reports, and pipeline of future developments. His deep and trusted relationships throughout the institutional capital, private equity and family office industries are invaluable to his clients as they fill their capital stack and grow their business.
Robin led the formation of Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing’s Research & Advisory arm in 2020 as a natural extension of the team’s decades-long work assisting developers, equity providers and lenders in their underwriting.
Robin started in real estate as an agent, and quickly became a top agent at one of New York's largest brokerage firms. He lives in on Long Island with his wife and two children. He is on the Syracuse University Real Estate Advisory Board and REBNY member. In his free time, he is active in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis and can be found on Shelter Island during summer weekends and skiing in the winter.
